Whats the stigma with tattoos.
In this day and age where they can be removed or you can even get them in England where they fade after like 7 yrs.
Personally, I don’t think they are that big a deal. I’m noticing more and more on modern but frum girls I know who have them.
If you noticed it, is that something that would make you think right off the bat. Oh, this girl isn’t frum? Or would you think oh, maybe she’s a bal tchuva??

It is against halacha to get a tattoo, so that is why it is surprising to see a permanent one on someone who grew up frum. It can be a sensitive issue for those of us who got a tattoo before we became frum.
did you grow up frum?
I'd assume the person were a ba'al teshuva or ger.
