I must release to the press the irrationality I have been thinking about lately. I once posted some Snapple lids on EBay as an experiment. My room mate at the time and I used to drink A LOT of Snapple and we had this mission to read all the Snapple facts. (okay, it was my mission, but she didn’t fight me on it.) Well, six months, a shoe box and 300 lids later . I had come to the realization that I were never going to read them. So for entertainment purposes we listed them on EBay. Now I don’t remember all that clearly but I think we started the listing at a buck. Five days and several bids later. It had sold for about ten bucks. I think that was with the 4 bucks we had charged for shipping.
People buy the stupid crap.
